PATINS Project (Promoting Achievement through Technology and INstruction for all Students) is a state-wide technical assistance network that connects Indiana’s local education agencies (LEAs) to Accessible Materials, Assistive Technology, Professional Development & Technical Support through the Indiana Departments of Education and Administration. PATINS helps to ensure that ALL students can access, participate, and progress within their general curriculum.
CreateAbility began its relationship with the PATINS Project team in 2019, where both of our organizations crossed paths at a local tradeshow and immediately recognized the alignment their goals/mission and our technology solutions to benefit the education and support of children with intellectual disabilities, Down Syndrome and autism here in our state. Our solutions can be located in their “Lending Library” to be demonstrated and utilized by the students they serve.
In January of 2020, CreateAbility was proud to be recognized as PATINS Project’s “Featured Vendor”. As such, PATINS provided our organization with the opportunity to demonstrate an overview of some of the solutions we provide for students. In it, you can get a good look into our assistive technologies MeMinder, The Employment Suite, Evalu8NOW, and Avatalk.
