Regular mobility can alleviate aches and pains allowing you to become physically stronger and without it, you could sacrifice your health or independence by declining even further. Moving the body freely and relatively pain-free is something that shouldn’t be luxury, yet many people go without access to physical therapy due to proximity to healthcare or the cost of a personal physical therapist, that could grant them increased mobility.
CreateAbility has designed solutions to facilitate exercise and physical therapy. Contact us to see how we can help you meet your exercise therapy goals.
Exercise Tracker
Physical therapy is essential to the recovery process, though after orthopedic surgeries such as hip or knee replacement, or rotator cuff repair some patients find the recovery exercise pamphlets they are given to be unhelpful or confusing. CreateAbility solves and exceeds this problem by assisting post-surgery patients return to mobility and function through a comprehensive telerehabilitation system called Exercise Tracker.
Working in conjunction with a physical therapist or clinician, Exercise Tracker uses the best technology approach for the patient and displays a prerecorded exercise on screen. The individual’s movements are verified using CreateAbility’s visual pattern recognition technology or a Flex band (similar to a Fitbit, though with more capabilities) can measure the individual’s performance during each repetition. If the person performs the exercise incorrectly, it verbally encourages them to make changes to follow the model.
Range of motion, number of repetitions, and number of sets are recorded and reported to the cloud for later analysis by a remote clinician who can then prescribe changes to the therapy if necessary. Exercise Tracker is ideal for those who need a comprehensive rehabilitation system that might be hindered by location or finances.

NGAGE (coming soon)
Exercises help manage and even significantly slow the symptoms of degenerative neurological diseases, such as Parkinson’s. The benefits of exercise could make positive changes to motor systems, balance, and even improve cognition. However, if done incorrectly, you might risk injury. This is why CreateAbility designed NGAGE, a system for people with Parkinson’s or other degenerative neurological diseases made for neurological guidance, assessment, goals, and engagement.
A series of Flex bands (wireless 9-axis accelerometers) track precise movements by the patient as they follow on-screen exercises and prompts them if they need to adjust their motions.
